What about correction charges?
We know these can be a problem so we build in a reasonable level of correction to any setting costs. You can be sure that the final invoice will match the estimate unless there have been significant and agreed changes. We never do extra correction work before we have discussed and agreed details with our clients.
How do you estimate?
We respond to what the client requires, providing an all-in charge, an itemised estimate, hourly rates… or whatever is needed. We are happy to give estimates or work to agreed budgets set by our clients. All estimating services are free of charge.
Who will manage the work
in house?
Each job, whether a large project or a single service, will have a dedicated manager who will be your contact. If, for any reason, that person is unavailable, other members of the team will be able to access the relevant information and provide an answer for you.
What sets Hart McLeod apart from the rest?
We believe that we offer the right blend: traditional expertise but forward thinking, in-house service with freelance support, dedicated professionalism yet easily approachable. We expect clients to feel they have received excellent levels of service and a real commitment to quality but, most of all, we want them to have enjoyed the process of working with us.
Why use Hart McLeod instead of Indian suppliers?
There are types of job where publishers, by placing work overseas, can receive excellent levels of service at much cheaper prices than we would charge. Hart McLeod acknowledges this; but only for supremely simple and totally problem-free projects. For anything else we are convinced that our levels of service, depth of experience and strict adherence to deadlines and budgets make us a more viable option.
